Dr. Otto Lose Appointed New President of EPSM - the European Engineering Polymer Shapes for Machining Association (EPSM)

Brussels, October 17, 2024 – The European Engineering Polymer Shapes for Machining Association (EPSM), a Sector Group of EuPC, is proud to announce the appointment as President of Dr. Otto Lose, Managing Partner of Licharz GmbH, a company leader in the sector of machine components manufacturing from the highly resilient technical plastic “Linnotam”. Before joining Licharz GmbH, Dr. Lose was board member at the mining group K+S in Kassel. From 2014 to 2016 he covered the role of Managing Partner at Römheld & Moelle GmbH, Mainz. Prior to that, he held various management positions during his many years at Dyckerhoff AG from 2001 to 2014, including in Ukraine.

Dr. Lose brings his extensive leadership experience and deep industry knowledge to the role, as EPSM continues its mission of representing and promoting the interests of the European manufacturers of engineering polymer shapes for machining.

EPSM has been a key voice for the industry for over 20 years, fostering innovation, ensuring quality, and promoting sustainable practices across Europe. Under Dr. Lose’s leadership, the association will further its commitment to creating a sustainable trading environment for the engineering polymer sector.

EPSM is deeply committed to pursuing sustainability goals that align with Europe’s circular economy vision. The association is focused on reducing environmental impact, promoting the circularity of plastics, and developing materials that can be recycled and reused effectively. As the newly appointed President, Dr. Lose will lead the association’s initiatives to strengthen the industry's sustainability efforts and enhance the role of engineering polymers in the European and global markets.
