EuPC Press Release: New Automotive and Transport Division Chairman
Claude Clément of PLASTIC OMNIUM was unanimously elected as Chairman of the EuPC Automotive and Transport Division during a recent division meeting held on 21 March in Brussels.
In a career of over 30 years in the plastic processing sector for the automotive industry, Claude Clément has held several business positions in Belgium and North America before spending 12 years in Asia. Claude Clément has held the position of President Europe of PLASTIC OMNIUM Auto Inergy Division since 2012. In this capacity, he manages the Europe Business Unit covering 15 plants in 10 countries among other responsibilities. Claude Clément is Belgian and currently based in Paris.
The Automotive and Transport Division of EuPC represents and promotes the interests of the European Plastics Converters of the Automotive and Transport Industry. Under the supervision of the new Chairman, the activities of the division will be focused on regulatory issues & REACH, innovation and market trends. The next meeting will take place in Lyon on the 2nd of June during EuPC's Annual Meeting, where the Automotive & Transport Forum presentations will be aligned with the main theme of the two-day conference: "Innovation meets the requirements of the circular economy".
