Risk Management Option Analysis in Plastics

Book your place at the REACH workshop and join our session on Risk Management Option for substances and Enforcement on 18th March 2016 in Brussels.

 

Klaus Berend – Head of Unit REACH at DG Grow will present how to implement REACH in a streamlined way, covering steps such as RMOA, Authorisation and Restriction. National expert Dr. Jochem F.M. van der Waals from Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment share the experience from the Netherland on RMO. ECHA will be represented by Scientific Officer Denis Mottet who will share knowledge gained from his past experiences with authorisation applications.

 

During the workshop, industry experts will be represented by Christian Schmitt, REACH Substance Coordinator Performance Chemicals Division of BASF, presenting RMOA of the UV absorber. Examples of ADCA substances will be presented by Sabine Dröge, Legal Assessor and Deputy Managing Director of Polycomply Hoechst, who will address different RMO for substances used exclusively in industrial settings and already subject to workplace legislation.   

 

Last but not least Michel Baumgartner, Secretary General of EUROPUR and EURO-MOULDERS, together with Ronal Van den Bosch, PU, EHS, Sustainability & Compliance of Dow Benelux, will present a new approach on REACH Restriction based on the example of diisocyanates.

 

On 17th March 2016 other topics such as Registration under REACH or the link between REACH and the Circular Economy will be also covered.
