The ANALYST-DIGI Beta Is Now Live
A new digital tool to help plastics companies compare alternatives and make better SSbD decisions.
Choosing a safer or more sustainable material is rarely simple.
A new alternative may reduce environmental impact but increase costs. It may improve safety while creating new social or supply-chain concerns. Assessing these factors separately makes it difficult to see the full picture.
That is why the ANALYST project developed ANALYST-DIGI.
After developing the methodology, connecting the four assessment dimensions and translating complex data into a transparent decision-support workflow, the beta version of ANALYST-DIGI is now available.

The new beta platform brings together safety, environmental, social and economic assessment in one digital environment, helping companies across the plastics value chain:
- Compare chemicals, materials and alternatives
- Identify strengths, risks and data gaps
- Understand trade-offs between different SSbD dimensions
- Support more transparent product-development and substitution decisions
The platform has been developed around real PVC applications in the construction and automotive sectors and is designed to evolve through industrial testing and feedback.
The beta is ready for testing
Current functions are already available, while further features are being added, including process-level assessments, expanded uncertainty analysis, saved assessments, data export and reporting.
